The vase can hold pencils, breadsticks, knitting needles -- and, of course, fresh or dried flowers. The surface has a satiny finish of layered glazes that appear to flow from rim to base. The vase is 7" tall, 3" at the widest area, and 1.5" wide at the rim.
I made the vase on the potter's wheel at my studio in San Francisco and fired it to 2300 degrees in a gas kiln. The glaze is safe for food, flowers, dishwasher or microwave ... although I personally hand was all ceramics that I use in my home.
Festive, functional and one of a kind - great gift for you or someone special. Think art for daily use!
