This lidded bowl was wheel thrown with hazelnut clay. Both the bowl and lid are hand carved with an original free flowing design. The rims and inside are glaze with 'Chrome' which fires as a very rich sage green. Iron oxide was applied to accentuate the carving. Clear glaze was applied to parts of the carved area for highlight. Much of the carved area is the natural unglazed clay.

This little bowl can hold anything from cotton balls, spare change, food, or plants. It is water tight, food and dishwasher safe.

Note: This pot has a small area (see pic 2 and 4) where the glaze was rubbed by another pot while loading the kiln. It is smooth and blends with the other brown spots in the glaze. This is the reason for the reduced price.

This listing is for the lidded bowl only. The plant is for display.
