I made this macrame hemp bracelet by knotting a variety of beads on hand dyed navy blue purple hemp rope. The collection of beads featured on this macrame bracelet include white shimmery glass beads, white painted wooden beads, blue sea glass beads with iridescent blasting, faceted white quartz beads, green glass beads, a rose carved rose quartz bead, and a polymer clay painted sugar skull. Dark iridescent seed beads that shimmer in blues, greens, and purples are embroidered on the hemp. The black velvet flower button clasp is upcycled from a pair of my daughter's gently worn and cleaned velveteen jeggings she has outgrown. I sewed a round rose quartz bead into the center of the flower and encrusted the edges with dark iridescent and purple silver lined seed beads. Day of the Dead skull bead is created in whole in my studio from polymer clay, decorated with acrylic paints, and sealed with triple thick acrylic glaze.
This beaded bracelet clasps by fitting the velveteen rose through the hemp loop behind the carved rose. Hand made bracelet closes to an 8 inch measurement. total length of Gothic bracelet and decorative edging measures close to 15 inches.
++This blue bracelet may become worn and damaged if it is repeatedly subjected to water, harsh sunlight, or heat. Contains small parts hazardous to small children.
