1950's, 32" bust, baby blue and white, pleated and lace edged wedding gown. Bodice of gown has a low V neckline, trimmed in lace with hand sewn pearls and sequins. Bodice is crossed pleated light blue chiffon, with semi detached pleated cap sleeves. Mid section of dress is white, and tight and falls below hips. Skirt of gown, is gathered under hips, and is made up of five graduated, light blue ruffles edged in white lace. The skirt of the gown has three under slips, the top slip was of fine white netting, middle slip is of course heavy netting, the third under slip, is of white satin. The back of bodice is high, sits above neck. The top is fastened by hooks and eyes, atop of a long zipper. The dress is round bottomed without a train. Very reminiscent of mid 19th century silhouette. Label reads "Michel Fields and Co., Brides Room".

Condition: very good, slight discoloration bottom of fifth ruffle right, faint water marks on satin under slip in front.
