This sampler was inspired by the memory of learning to write in cursive on blue dotted lines. I remember it specifically because it was the first time I was allowed to use a pen in school. Here you can practice your lines in six different ways with six different stitches, and pick the one you like the best to add your name to the top right hand corner. Please note, this sampler arrives ready to embroider.
Penmanship Paper was one of the first samplers I designed. It's been discontinued for a few years, but I decided to bring it back during quarantine, since so many of us are home with our kids learning new skills and pastimes.

+ Where can I find more embroidery help?
I'm so glad you asked! Check out my online workshop on Creativebug. Here's a link:

+ Where can I see other examples of the finished sampler?
Instagram! Check out the hashtag #dropclothsamplers for tons of beautiful examples of all our designs, stitched by people like you. I hope you'll add yours to
the mix!
+ How should I back my sampler?
For best results, I recommend backing this fabric with a second piece of fabric (cotton or linen) before placing your fabric in the hoop. You'll get the flattest,
most even stitches this way. Check out my how to for this step on creativebug or IGTV (@dropcloth)
+ What size hoops should I use? I like a size 6- but use whatever you hoop you have on hand.
