This holder is constructed using Tiffany stained glass method using copper foil. The solder seams have been treated with black patina. This small panel has a black chain attached and it is ready for hanging.
This holder should be hung on a wall, not in front of a window.
Shown is a Tillandsia air plant. It does not come with the holder. For those who are unfamiliar with air plants, here are basic easy to grow directions:
Air plants take all their water and nutrients through the leaf system, none or very minimal amounts are absorbed by the root system.
Mist your plant every 5 days with one to two sprays of water or soak the entire plant in a bowl of water for 1 minute, shake off excess, and return it to the holder. Watering frequency depends on how dry the air is in your home.
Do not place your air plant holder directly in front of a window where you get direct sun. Remember the glass will intensify the sunlight and the heat. Indirect light is best and some will even grow in low to moderate light.
This is my own design, copyright of Designs in Stained Glass, not to be duplicated.
Note: Air plant not included.
