It's true.
I thought this was nonsense, or complete rubbish (as the Brits say) until I finally had the pleasure of owning my very first Hermès piece and a piece of haute history.
Then I understood.
Every woman needs Hermès in her wardrobe. It's a timeless, classic staple. It doesn't matter if you're young or old, if your style is preppy or punk, Hermès is for any woman's wardrobe.
And,Hermès is an investment. Unlike many other vintage designer items, Hermès vintage pieces will not only retain their values if properly cared for, but many will actually increase in value.
I love this vintage 1980s Hermès gold and silver scarf ring. It's a scarf ring because it literally looks like the rings you can purchase to use as adornments with your lovely Hermès scarves. The ring is classic. It would make an excellent gift. I know I would love to receive it. I took it to Hermès in New York about one year ago to have it polished. (Yes, I've had it that long. I contemplated keeping it. It's meant for another lucky, fashionable hand.) The ring is a size 6.
History/Backstory: I purchased this from another dealer.
Condition: Very Good. Light surface scratches, nothing major. As stated above, I took it to Hermès about a year ago to have it polished. It could probably do with another. It has been safely tucked away in its box. The box shows wear. Please convo if you would like additional photos.
The ring is marked Hermès Paris. There is also a maker's mark on the outside band, very hard to photograph.
