Make a cute lace pixie hat for yourself, your baby, toddler, or child, or as a present. Pattern features a cute leaf lace pattern, a slightly pointy pixie top, and a button closure. Makes a great baby shower gift or photography prop.

Pattern is advanced beginner level. The knitter should be familiar with yarn overs and decreases (decreases used are: p2tog, k2tog, and k3tog). The hat is finished with a 3 needle bind off but there is a page dedicated to a photo tutorial on how to do this (one of my test knitters didn't know how to do a 3 needle bind off and was able to learn with only my tutorial). Pattern is written in standard American English knitting terms. The pattern is color coordinated for sizes (for example, all newborn information is in red, toddler information is in green, etc) to assist the knitter in pattern creation.

Sizes provided:
Newborn
3-6 months
6-12 months
Toddler (1-3 years)
Child (4-12 years)
Preteen/Adult (13+ years)

Materials required:
- Approximately 75(100,120,145,175,200) yards DK weight yarn (examples shown are DreamBaby DK in color #0107 by Plymouth Yarn, and I Love this Yarn Sport Weight available from Hobby Lobby in Cream -- please note that this is a DK yarn despite the name)
- One 20" (or longer) 4.0mm circular needle (or size needed to obtain gauge) for sizes Newborn to 6 to 12 Months
- One 24” (or longer) 4.0mm circular needle (or size needed to obtain gauge) for sizes Toddler to Adult
- Three (or more) DPNs, size 4.0mm for 3 needle bind off
- One ¾ inch button, in desired style
- Tapestry Needle to sew yarn ends in
