Ready to hang with the original "roller" at one end and wood dowel (which is approx. 42") with metal ring pull at the bottom, this map is in good condition for its age. No major holes or tears to the MAIN parts of the map, just some wear and missing paper along the bottom (please see photos, some pieces of the paper map have been lost from the canvas backing in places). Some creases in places, but still rolls up very nicely and is smooth in most places. Map does have a stain on the word NORTH (see close up of bottom left corner).
Map doesn't have a year marked (that I can find), but after a bit of research, I believe it was printed in the 1940s or 1950s. Heavy paper map appears to be mounted to canvas roller.
Map reads:
NORTH AMERICA
McConnell School Map Co.
GOSHEN INDIANA
