This cup was wheel-thrown using yellow iron-rich clay. I mixed my own malachite-green matte glaze to cover the inside, while the outside was decorated using dry engobe, giving it natural raw feel. I chose white and pink colors for the background; black seagulls were inlaid into the background. It was fired to cone 10 in a gas kiln. The outside was sanded to give it smooth soft surface. It has a gold luster rim. Hold about 10 oz of liquid.

It measures 3.25" tall and about 3.25" wide.

The cup has a gold luster rim and should not go into the microwave. It can be washed in the dishwasher, but the luster would last much longer if you wash it by hand.
