The pattern is called 'Spring's Gift', and depicts a fresh and beautiful English woodland scene, with leafy branches and trees covered in blossom, an idyllic lakeside view with banks of pink flowers and mossy rocks. The pieces are edged in gold, and the cup has a three-part scrolled handle.
The set is in excellent condition with no damage and hardly any wear. The pieces are marked with the Royal Stafford backstamp, a pattern number and decorators' marks.
The cup measures 6.5 cm/2.7" high, the saucer is 14 cm/5.5" across and the teaplate is 17.5 cm/6.7". Together they weigh 432 gms, and the estimated packaged weight is 850 gms.
