This is an elegant, princess-like mauve chiffon dress with green accents from the 1950s. The large lapel-like collar is trimmed with pink lace as are the gathered sleeves. There a chiffon camisole trimmed with lace built into the bodice which falls just below the neckline. The front of the bodice (just above the waistline) has a horizontal green and pink flower appliqué. The gathered waist is covered with a green satin ribbon which ties in the back of the dress. The dress has a full skirt with a crinoline slip built in to give it extra body and fullness. The dress fastens in the back with a row of four white buttons. This dress is approximately a size 14 however, please see measurements below for correct fit.
