The light switch is the brown piece in the middle of the lamp, between the top and bottom pieces. It turns to switch.
It takes a 3-way bulb.
It is difficult to date this lamp with no marks, but the style places it from the 1930s to as late as the early 1950s.
The lamp measures 20" to the top of the socket.
A harp and shade are not included.
The ceramic is in excellent condition; no cracks, chips or crazing .There are some "rubbed" spots on the metallic gold glaze.
The brass plate on the top of the lamp is tarnished.
The lamp does work, and takes a 3-way bulb.
