Late 1800's Marble & Shattuck Chair. It is beautifully made the perfect gift for your favorite writer. It has some distress near one of the bottom legs a bit of scratching and not original wheel hardware. The hardware is old but not 100 years old. The chair has beautiful lines and original name plates. It looks in some places as if a stain touch up was added. However, it gives the chair a bit of character. The life it must have lead starting with the industrial revolution. It is the perfect desk chair. Measures 33 inches tall. The seat is 15 inches deep. It is very heavy.
