Wine bottles extend five inches away from the surface they're mounted on. (If you are so detail oriented as to notice that in photos there are no screws in the bottom holes of the wall plates, I'm impressed. The kits contain two screws per wall plate, we were just limiting the holes we drilled in the garage wall!)

Disclaimer: The first photo has an effect on it, I'm sure you can tell. I was having fun with Picasa & it just looked too cool so I kept it. The fifth one is the same pic with out the Lomo effect :)
