This stained glass jewelry box was created using an Uroboros art glass. Blue, purple and green fractures of glass are layered and scattered across a clear background along with thin black streamers. The lid of this 3x4x1 beveled box is embellished with a large floral-stamped dragonfly. The box opens on a full brass hinge, has a mirrored bottom for maximum light reflectance, and has felt pads on the bottom.

I put a lot of time and care into creating each hand-made box. They are hand-cut and assembled by me using the copper foil technique. Each piece is wrapped in copper foil, soldered together and cleaned. After the lid embellishment is laid out and soldered on, the boxes are hand-polished and cleaned a final time.
