Beautiful late Victorian era gold brooch in a love knot pattern of gold plate with nice sized center white paste stone. Very sweet and so sentimental! The Victorians loved these love knots -- symbols of the eternity of love, and a love that never ends! Brooch measures 1" across, with period correct tube hinge and "c" clasp for closure Also has a small loop so that it can be worn as a pendant.. Beautiful etching on leaves of the knot.
