I present to you the Kyuubi, the mythical nine-tailed fox spirit of Japan. I made this ooak art doll from an original pattern that I also created. The size is 17 x 11.5 x 11 inches. each tail was added into the seam and then stuffed and stitched closed individually. The details on the face are done with a thin layer of fabric paint and two small white buttons. The fabrics are a wild mix of red, yellow, orange, black, gold, magenta, purple, brick, and just a hint of green to make it all glow. Each tail is a different cotton quilting fabric. The limbs are held on with matte red plastic buttons and all can swivel for posing.
The stuffing is cluster stuff; polyester.
This is coming from a non-smoking, but cat-friendly household.
