Has metal hardware and black plastic handle. The inside is painted white with "Safety First" instructions printed on the inside of the lid along with great mid century graphics. There is a thermos holder inside.
This lunchbox is in good vintage condition. The hardware including hinges, handle and latch are sturdy and in working order. The outside has some surface scratches, a tiny bit of rust and gently worn edges, consistent with its age. No dents! The interior has some surface scratches and a bit of rust - but I would consider it still usable.
Size is 8" long by 6 3/4" tall by 4" deep.
Still many years left as a lunch box, or could be used as a storage container for all kinds of treasures. Would also make an adorable purse!
This lunchbox was treasured!
