This table is a nod to the designs of the late furniture maker George Nakashima. I made it without the use of any power tools, as I had once again nicked my hand in the shop. The line of butterflys is intended to mimic the stitches in my hand at the time.
The table measures approximately 51”L x 17”W x 16”H and has a hand-rubbed oil finish in the same style as Nakashima tables. As the original is sold, this design can be replicated to meet your size requirements, and other variations, such as a metal base version, are available.
