A long, magical wedding gown or party dress.
it is stately and linear, with clean essential lines and it has a wonderful flowing drape
I used a gathered stitching technique for the bodice, which creates a textured, structured fabric, and overlayed handcut lace over it.
the skirt is three layers. I hand dyed these silks with tea leaves, which yields a delicate ivory. the middle layer is an aqua grey chiffon.
the top layer is very very generous, and is opened down the front, for extra flow and movement, and then draped in front.
I also love the contrast between the edgy, almost rustic feeling bodice and the airy, flowing skirt.
it is slightly slitted in back at the bottom. zips up the center back
it is floor length. in the photos I am 5'7" and I'm barefoot. let me know your height or the desired length if you'd need it shorter.
the bodice is currently set to fit a 32-34" inch bust, but I can adjust it for you, just let me know your circumference when you order and I'll move the zip order.
I can tighten it as needed, or widen it to fit up to about 37" max.
the thin straps are made with the sheer chiffon.
this dress in this color is one of a kind.
