Textile/clothing waste makes up for nearly 7% of municipal waste and 95% of the that material can be recycled! For the past 2 years I have offered incentives to my own customers with a mail in recycling program called TrashN2Cash- to date I've diverted more than 2.5 tons of clothing from the landfill. With the expansion of my clothing recycling program & along with the great partnerships my goal is to divert 8 times more (40,000 lbs!) by the end of 2012!
