These soft looking buttons are made from a tree that had to be removed from a house near mine. It jutted out past the driveway and was creating a blind spot. Of course I could not let it go to waste! This spruce has a very clean look and feel. There is a subtle grain pattern accented by the light and dark contrast of the wood. Buttons are hand sanded several times finishing with 220 grit paper. Finally, they are treated with Tung Oil and a coat of beeswax to preserve their rich detail.
Buttons measure 1 3/4" in diameter and are approximately 1/4" thick. Perfect for your next crochet, knitting, or any other craft project!!
