Latitude and Longitude coordinates are stamped on heavy gauge aluminum (nickel free), measuring approximately 2 x 1/2 inches. The aluminum itself is actually nice and lightweight. The cord is an adjustable size, which is adjustable by moving the knots on both sides. This may require assistance of additional hands putting it on and adjusting the size (since its hard to do one-handed:) It is a one size fits most size. The cord is a 2 mm wide black woven cord.
Simply let me know the coordinates you want stamped on the bracelet in the 'note to seller' box during checkout. Please be very specific of what you want on each line and which line you want on top. You can spell out "degrees, minutes, seconds and decimal" (i.e. N 74°56'45.24") or "degrees, minutes with decimal" (i.e. N74°34.5682') and I'll replace them with the symbol.
There are many different ways of writing coordinates based on your geographic region (including N,S,E, and W), so let me know what format you are looking for.
Limit 13 characters per line (this includes degree, minute, second and decimal characters). Limit 2 lines.
Here are a few websites that might help you find your coordinates:
http://www.worldatlas.com/aatlas/latitude_and_longitude_finder.htm
http://www.findlatitudeandlongitude.com/find-latitude-and-longitude-from-address.php
(scroll under the map and type in the address on the left.
click load, then on the right side under the map, it will give you the different layouts for the coordinates. Personally I think the shorter codes look better, but that's just me)
Google earth is always an option too if you have the program downloaded.
I CAN'T STAMP ON THE REVERSE SIDE, since the force of the stamping transfers through to the reverse side, marring the finish.
It ships in an attractive gift box, ready to present as a gift!
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of it being HANDMADE, characters may not be 'perfectly' aligned (I am not a machine, besides, I think it gives it character to be a bit uneven).
Aluminum may not be flawless in its finish. Since the cord is cotton, it is only natural that the cut ends of the cotton will fray with normal wear and tear. Cotton may also shrink slightly if it gets wet.
