Colorado Aspen Wood Log Candle Holder

This Aspen Log Candle was made from a Colorado Aspen Tree harvested from our 3 acres in the South Park area. The Aspen was dead but still standing. The bark was carved off by hand, then the log is cut to size and sanded multiple times, down to 220 grit. After 2-3 coats of clear polyurethane, and sanding between each, the beautiful grain and colors and variations of the Aspen are beautifully brought out to this final product.
