He didn't know where he had gone wrong. As a father, he thought he had imparted knowledge and practical living skills to all of his children but his daughter Britta was proving otherwise. The family had always enjoyed practical and dependable dogs including several labrador retrievers with hefty barks and sturdy physiques. You know, the kind of dogs that could pull Timmy out of a well if that situation should present itself. But now Britta had left the nest, married a promising young law student and had gone and done the unimaginable, she had purchased a pug dog. The little smashed nose beast even had his own vintage doll bed where he sat enthroned--king of his domain. The little dog would sit on the bed and while away the day, occasionally honking and snorting as pugs often do. Dad could only hope that one day his wayward daughter would come to her senses.

ITEM DESCRIPTION:
For sale is a super cute, mint green, hand-made vintage doll bed (frame only- no mattress) with the perfect amount of shabby distress. We are dating this piece to the 1950's. It is 22" long, 15.75" wide. The headboard is 15.5" tall and the footboard is 9.5" tall. It stands 5" off the floor. The bed is constructed of 1" X .75" wood with slightly thinner slats for the railing and bed slats. There is metal window screen stapled across the bottom to help support a pillow or doll mattress. This would be great for displaying vintage or antique dolls. We also think this doll bed would make a fun bed frame for smaller dogs or cats--apparently Britta had the same thought.
