I kept the colors pale and muted, more like you see on a really hot summers day. The sprigs are constructed in string and then painted in acrylics afterwards.
This work has an incredible amount of texture. This gives this painting another dimension and is not only a feast for the eyes but it is also very tactile.
The painting measures 35 x 24cms (14" x 9.5") and is framed a quality, solid wood floating frame which is white. This painting is ready for hanging with a wire on the back. To care for any of my textured paintings, simply dust with a feather duster from time to time.
