My mother made many dresses for my sister and me trimmed with these lovely cotton jacquard trims. We frequently went to a shop that held rows of shelves overflowing with colorful ribbons and I still remember the little ladybug that tied the bags closed with our purchase inside. We were always so excited to bring home a new batch. Today I am still attracted to these trims and whenever I come across a piece I buy it but it has become silly to keep it stashed away in a box so I designed these accessories to highlight the beauty of this old world style.
