This is an adorable handmade long sleeved red and white cotton polka dot feed sack dress from the 1930s. The white peter pan collar is a lovely contrast to the red and white patterned bodice. The neckline has a simple and pretty red hand smocked pattern. There is a sweet little pocket made of the same fabric as the bodice with white trim and an embroidered red flower on the right side of the dress. The dress fastens in the back at the neckline with one hidden snap. This dress has a full and loose styling. This dress is approximately 2T-3T however, please see measurements below for correct fit.

This is one of four dresses that were made in the midwest in the 1930's by a farmer's wife for their little girl. All four dresses were part of an estate and were found in a box labeled: "Our Baby's Things - 1934 - 1935 Ohio."
