An amazing piece of turquoise crackle glass. This piece of genuine crackle glass was formed when discarded beach debris was gathered into a pile, near the ocean's edge, and set ablaze. The salty water waves would quench the fire, quickly cooling down the heated glass until it cracked into it's current form. You can still see the grains of sand that are permanently embedded. This is a large turquoise piece (1" x 3/4") with lot's and lot's of character. The design is meant to appear that the crackle glass is set in it's own mermaid tear, one of my unique and original designs. A true vintage treasure!
This sea glass pendant is 1 1/4" in L and 3/4" W ,and comes with an 1mm 18" sterling silver box chain.
About the silver I use~thick gauge 100% recycled ~ Argentium Silver (930) is a high quality sterling silver that contains more geranium than traditional silvers, i.e., sterling silver (925). making the silver highly tarnish resistant. This gives your special keepsake a longer lasting shine and luster requiring minimal polishing. 930 silver is also fire resistant.
Coastal inspired~recycled and up cycled this is truly a one of kind keepsake for yourself or that special someone in your life.
