Gorgeous vintage woven caramel brown and ivory white leather bucket bag made by Brio from the 1980's. This large bucket bag is made of an exceptionally soft and supple leather in contrasting shades of warm caramel brown and ivory white. The bag has a long partially braided caramel brown adjustable shoulder strap with a gold tone metal buckle which enables the bag to be worn cross body if so desired. In addition, the bag features two woven leather exterior pockets on either side secured with magnetic snaps, caramel brown leather trim and piping, matching leather cinching straps woven into the opening of the bag which enables the top to be cinched shut and can be used as handbag handles if the shoulder strap is place within the central compartment of the bag. The interior is accessed through a magnetic snap hidden within the opening of the bag, and opens to reveal a large central compartment, lined with a soft velvety pale brown fabric (which is also used to line the exterior pockets) and contains a zippered pocket along one side. There is a tag inside the bag which states it was made in Korea, and there is also a small rectangular gold tone emblem attached to the interior pocket's zipper pull which is marked "Brio!". Aside from some scuffing and discoloration in spots to the exterior leather as well as a few small abrasions and some wear to the interior fabric lining, this 80's Brio woven caramel brown and ivory white leather bucket bag is still in very good vintage condition!
The purse measures approximately 12" tall by 8" wide (when sitting flat), tapering to approximately 4" wide at the top when cinched. The base measures 8" across, with room for expansion. The shoulder strap drop measures 22" at it's longest adjustment, and 20" at it's shortest adjustment.
