This cute little bird will hang adorably from a hook, handle or nestle snuggly on any surface.
I fashioned, using the needle felt technique, the main body of the bird with wool taken from a local welsh sheep on a small holding in Eglwysbach in North Wales. The body of the bird is firmly felted. The branch, flowers and decorative outer coating of the sheep are needle felted in merino wool.
The main body is grey in colour with cream polka dot decoration. The flowers are made in pink red and blue with the leaves in a salmon pink colour.
It measures approximately:
From beak to tail: 4" - 10 cm
Felted cord: 5" - 13 cm
Top of tail to bottom of base: 4" - 10 cm
