A lovely, small, antique apothecary bottle from a French pharmacy in Burgundy.

This small bottle is hard to date. It is a bottle made between molds and is mouth-blown which are characteristics for a very broad period in time, namely between 1800 and 1915.
Because I found this bottle with some other apothecary bottles coming from the same pharmacy, I have to guess that this bottle is from the second half of the 19th century.

This bottle comes from a pharmacie called R. Cario, which is the follow up of A. Martin as it says on the label, in the village Moulins-Engilbert, Burgundy.
It used to contain a medicine against Parkinson disease.

This is a unique, little addition to a glass collection.

The bottle measures almost 10 cm's high including the stopple and has a diameter of 5 cm's.
In inches this will be 3.9" high and 1.95" in diameter.
To avoid any damage to the label, I have not cleaned the bottle.

I will ship the bottle wrapped in bubbly foil and a carton box so it will reach you safely.

Merci for stopping by,
