This painting has gel gloss transfers, resin, and journal text collaged onto the surface. This painting is called "Among Us." In my art, I try to connect the viewer to the everyday world that surrounds them. I incorporate text into most of my pieces. These pieces of text are either quotes from my favorite authors or text taken from magazines, such as recipes, articles, or advertisements. My work looks to me like a time capsule, capturing images, culture and text from the world around us. My abstract pieces are influenced by the "painter of feelings", Mark Rothko.
Each painting come signed and dated on the back. I also include an old signed paintbrush with each of my paintings, and a certificate of authenticity. Each painting is wired and ready to hang.
I do not make prints from any of my pieces, and each painting is unique and never duplicated.
I also work on commission so please let me know if you like my style but don't see a piece that suits you quite right. Custom paintings will be made and shipped in one week from the purchase date.
