This is a simplified version of my Tuesday Top and Dress Pattern and the Playday Frock pattern is also available in the book Fabric-By-Fabric One Yard Wonders by Rebecca Yaker and Patricia Hoskins and published by Storey Publishing.
*In addition to fabric, you will need basic sewing tools and supplies. Understanding of basic sewing skills. A little practice and experience with easy projects, knowledge of basic sewing terms. PDF reader program installed on computer, printer to print pattern pages. Wax paper or parchment paper to make copies of the pattern in assorted sizes if desired, markers. Sewing machine and or serger/overlocker, knowledge of clothing seam finishes using the machines you own. Scissors, measuring tape, thread etc...Plush toys or dolls will not require the use of a serger/overlocker and for most clothing it is handy, but optional.
**Regarding pattern printing, you do not need to print the entire pdf file with all of the pictures and instructions. Just print the actual pattern pages of the file and you can view/read the instructions on your computer as needed.

It was a little cool out the day we took these original photos that were submitted for the book proposal for my design so we threw a simple tee on under it. :) But it is adorable layered over a cute long or short sleeved top.
A special thankyou to Trinh for sharing her sweet pictures of the blue gingham Playday Frock, made using my pattern from the Fabric by Fabric One Yard Wonders book.
