- Wedding Gown with Ruched Cummerbund Waist, Rosettes, and Illusion Bodice

- 100% woven silk, re-embroidered Alencon lace, beads
A super-classic 1950s wedding dress with all the trimmings: the beaded lace illusion bodice, flattering cap sleeves, a dreamy full princess skirt, a subtle train, a ruched cummerbund waist, a beautiful back button closure with dozens of diminutive covered buttons--all embodied in luminous genuine silk. The unusual rosette details and wide pleats at the skirt make this subtly different, while staying true to the era's simplicity and femininity.
Back button closure. Lined.

Very good vintage. Noted flaws: 1) Stains: scattered spots which we noticed only upon sitting down to steam and style the dress, these are allover pale yellow age spots; 1 spot at cummerbund waist visible in enlarged photos; some mild underarm staining. 2) One repaired area at back train; fabric tape has been applied over a small tear. This dress is highly wearable and will photograph well; it certainly merits another trip down the aisle. Price reflects imperfections; please study enlarged photos.
