We measure with the garment lying flat or on a hanger from side to side first not stretched, then stretched comfortably. Then the number is doubled. Just because a garment measures 36" in the bust does not mean it will accommodate a 36" bust....the garment is flat when measured from side to side...YOU are not! It is recommended that you measure against a similar well-fitted garment for a satisfying fit.

As to condition; We choose items that are of the finest quality, repair them when needed and bring them to you in the best possible condition. We would NEVER sell anything that we would not wear ourselves! If a repair has been made or there is a visible flaw it will be noted. With that being said....we rate like this; New condition is generally new or new without tag. Excellent condition means it is in great condition for the age of the garment...with the only issue being so minor it can't be photographed and isn't worth mentioning...it is TO BE expected in vintage apparel. If you are looking for PERFECT....you should NOT shop vintage and should go to Ebay to look at our designer clothing instead! Good Condition means it has a noted flaw. Fair condition means it is in good enough condition to be worn and has plenty of life left. Poor condition means it is still fashion worthy...collector worthy and simply can not be thrown out!
