Oh my gosh, how great is this?! It is the "Set No. 8 1/2" Erector Set. It says it was ,"Developed at the Gilbert Hall of Science." This listing is just for the box, which is in amazing shape! Very little paint wear on the outside of the box, some on the inside bottom. It has no latches, but does stay closed. The inside paper label still looks great as well. It stays open alone and would make for such a great display case. Have it on your shelf with vintage books, tin toys, a jar of marbles, matchbox cars, whatever you collect. Great for a man cave or gameroom. It is a nice size, so makes for a generous display piece.
