Use this yellow ikat fabric bin as a decorative vase, or as classy waste paper receptable. It is a colorful accent piece with a tribal touch.

It is made in our workshop in the south of France, where we sculpt the fabric, an authentic ikat made from the natural fibers of abaca, hand-woven on backstrap looms by tribespeople of the Philippines. (Yes, we do like to travel!)

The fabric is called T'nalak, made by members of the T'boli tribe. It is meticulous work. A piece 20-feet long can take as much as two months to create. As a finishing touch, the fabric is polished to a sheen with a piece of shell rubbed by hand all over the length of it. We bring the precious fabric to our atelier, where we sew it, and then treat it so that we can sculpt it to bring you a textile vessel unique, modern, and fun.

You are getting the yellow bin in the first four photos. The last photo shows the other fabric bowls and containers we have available.

Approximate measurements:
H - 10 inches or 25.40 cm
Maximum diameter - 8.5 inches or 21.50 cm

This is lightweight, and very durable. Wipe with a soft cloth to clean.
