This is a nice tee made in Australia with a Ken Maynard graphic from 1979 that shows an Aussie flexing his muscles while carrying an Australian flag and running around with kangaroos (one of whom also appears to be flexing). At the bottom, it says, "Ave a go, Aussie, 'Ave a go!" It's pretty much, well, awesome. It most likely came from "Aussie World" or the Ettamogah Pub. Exacto brand shirt. Tag says size 14 (kids, I assume) Chest 90 cm.
Great shape - no holes or popped seams. A little bit of cracking in the black line drawing portions, but no cracks in the flag. It's a cotton / polyester blend, so it's got lots of stretch.
A bit of history from Wikipedia:
"The original creator of the Ettamogah Pub was Ken Maynard, who started drawing the Pub in 1959. It was made famous through his regular cartoons in The Australasian Post. The Aussie World "Ettamogah Pub" was built 30 years later in 1989. The word "Ettamogah" is Aboriginal for 'place of good drink!' Now one of Queensland's leading tourist attractions,[unbalanced opinion] it stands an impressive 18 metres (59 ft) in height. It was opened on 24 November 1989, with most of the furniture inside the pub built from trees cleared from the actual site. A vehicle exists on the top of the pub. In the cartoon the theory is the truck was washed up there in the floods of 1946 and none of the regulars could be bothered to get it down. The car is a 1927 Chevy which originally was a four-door sedan and was converted into a utility in 1947."
