This poppy focal bead is a constructed from polymer clay one at a time, with multiple pieces and curings. The centre has been highlighted with oil paint, sealed with renaissance wax, to immitate the pollen dusting you find on any real poppy.
Right now these are undrilled. The hole will run through the black back/bottom portion. If drilled through the centre the bead has lots of movement as it is so top heavy. If you would prefer it to stay put I would suggest a hole running through the top third. Both options are equally good, just two different looks - I'd like the designer to have that option. Please state you preference in the notes and your poppy will be drilled before shipping.
At the wide part of the petals it's about 1.5" across and an inch or so high. The black portion where the hole will be is about 3/4".
Thank you for looking!
