Reilly & Lee reprinted the Oz books many times without providing any dating or edition information other than the original copyright date, 1904. a fact that has bedeviled book collectors who have mistaken later editions for first editions. The company reprinted Baum's pre-1919 books with the "Reilly & Lee" imprint, instead of the "Reilly & Britton" imprint of the original editions, but with no other indication that the books were later editions.
This re-purposed altered book is one of the later editions called the white edition, The art is all the original Baum except for the design in the front of the book. all images were in black and white.
This is a beautiful altered book, that comes with a wood book stand and a box that includes the rest of the papers artistically arranged as a keepsake.
the book is 8x10 approximately and the box is larger.

A remarkable gift for the book lover, and Wizard of Oz collector
