We've used a quart-sized mason jar and have drilled a small hole in the bottom of the jar for proper drainage. The planter hangs from sturdy rope and is extremely easy to hang. We include the hook and all you have to do is add soil and whatever plants, herbs or flowers you wish. Hang in the kitchen, the bathroom, the deck or even out in the garden.
The planter hangs 3 feet from the ceiling to the bottom of the mason jar.
