FACT: This adorable little wood burning has everything I love in vintage collectables; it's a dog, it's primitive, it's all hand done in wood, it's primitive, it has so much soul.
It's signed 1943(looks, at first glance like 1993, but this is very old...so I'm aging it at 43') on the back, and the maker has burned a grasshopper logo there.
The frame looks like Pine (It is nicked and worn), and the face of the woodburning appears to be plywood.
FICTION: Ethel invited Harvey over to watch Ed Sullivan. This was a test. If he could, with good grace, accept that Frenchie always sat on the center cushion of the sofa, then he would pass to the 2nd level, concerning Frenchie's chosen spot on the bed.
