We love to rescue vintage books in non-viable disrepair and give them new life. We upcycle the beautiful, weathered pages to create unique prints that glow with the patina of another age, so no two are alike. The result is a beautiful and interesting home decor print, perfect for framing by itself or in a wall group. Definitely a conversation starter!
Our prints are currently created using dictionaries from the turn of the century up to the 1920's and some pages contain small illustrations that accompany word entries. Because of their age and condition, they may have flaws such as foxing (browning and spotting), nicked edges and the occasional corner turn. However, we feel these are desirable qualities, contributing to the inherent character of each print.
The print(s) you purchase will be of the image you select, but the dictionary page it is printed on will be different. The presentation frame shown is not included - you will receive the print only. Every piece is an original work of art with the finished size approximately 8” x 10 1/2”, with slight variation. Perfect for an 8”x10” frame or a standard 11”x14” mat with an 8”x10” opening.
Each of our prints are creatively designed and printed in our studio and shipped with care in rigid, stay-flat mailers and protected in plastic sleeves.
