This is an absolutely beautiful recreation of Ginger Roger's dance dress for the musical number "Never Gonna Dance" with Fred Astaire from the movie Swing Time. It makes for a gorgeous ballroom dance dress, collector's dress, or generally speaking formal dress. Shown in silk chiffon and lined in silk satin and constructed true to the 1930's design (the under dress has a built in boy short like a 20's bathing suit that Ginger had for modesty while she danced). The dress is made with a double circle skirt to allow it to be pulled up above the head as was in the original dance number. The skirt also has panels of silver sequins along panels to catch the light as the dance number went on. Rhinestone banding across the back and along the bust. The dress is made of 40 panels of godets and panels to make it as full and luxurious as it is and skirt is cut on the bias.
