Made from one complete LP sleeve with the front cover on the outside, back cover on the inside and the vinyl record on top. Top and bottom are lined with a bright blue and green imported paper with trippy-tropical print. Pearly green plastic handle, sturdy draw bolt latch and quality hardware.
Record: The Young Rascals - Groovin'
Released in the Summer of Love, July 1967, the title song epitomizes summer, laid back with a splash of soul, and a hint of psychedelia. Truly a classic, the album peaked at #5 on the Billboard LP chart and #7 on the R&B album chart. The colorful cover design, featuring cartoon portraits of the band members and super cool mod typography reworked wonderfully with the original blue and green Atlantic Stereo label. This would have happily stayed in my personal record collection had it not skipped in several places, but as a box is still perfectly smile-inducing.
Outside Dimensions: 5 1/2" W x 6 1/4" H (not including handle) x 5 1/2" D (13.5 cm x 16 cm x 13.5 cm)
