The Cheyenne: After picking up my laptop for the millionth time from the mall because of hard drive problems, I was trying to think of something lovely to distract my brain from the utter frustration with mall trekking. I got the idea for this dress in a flash, and knew my red striped rayon chiffon would be the quintessential spring/summer fabric for it. I rushed home and whipped it together in a couple days.
The front bodice is covered in strips cut on the diagonal, each is about 1.5" wide. I found a gorgeous studded and beaded trim for the waist. The bow can be tied off to the side, centered in front, or around the neck as a halter. It meets at the back in a charming collar.
I hope you like it! A shorter, above knee version would be $280. Listing is coming soon!
I can make this to order in red or in a variety of colors. Red fabric is not silk, so please see fabric options for more pricing. See my color swatches for help.
Note: Trim may vary slightly depending on what’s in stock when you order.
