I love, love, love decorating with old porch posts or columns. They take up little room and give oodles of decorating options. This beauty features an old porch post that we found and then added a square top and bottom. The old post was painted a light creamy white so we left it that way and painted the top and bottom in the same creamy shade. The post is naturally distressed, but just a little.

This makes a great plant stand, but I also love to use them to display floral arrangements, cherubs, and old baskets. I bet you can think of many other ways to enjoy it as well. I will be listing two porch posts. You can see the other one in a separate listing. This one differs in that it is slightly more turned than the other one. But if you are looking for a pair, they are the same size and would be great for entrance ways, beside tables, etc.

Dimensions: 41 3/4" tall x 10 3/4" square at the top and 10" square at the bottom.
