Vintage Carpet Bag Kilim Tapestry Weekender Bag
This is a beautiful vintage Carpet Bag. I love the graphics and colors on this bag they are so rich and vibrant! kilim tapestry dark brown leather straps and trim. Zipper closure bag has one outside zipper compartment. The inside is one big open compartment and has one small zipper pocket on the side. Interior has all cowhide lining. The bottom has 4 gold feet so the bag sits nice and flat.
Details:
This bag is in great vintage condition. The carpet Kilim material is in great condition throughout the outside of the bag. The bottom or the bag where the carpet material attaches to the dark brown leather base is pulling away from the bottom, it has fraying (see photo #5). This adds to the bags vintage charm and is to be expected with age and use. The interior of the bag is cowhide. The cowhide is shedding on the inside of the bag. The bag is not damaged in any way, but the cowhide is shedding in tiny little flakes. You may be able to spray the inside with a silicone leather conditioner spray to stop the shedding. The bottom of the bag has some scuffs see photo #5.
